Is Your Child Defiant?

Do you have to tell your child over and over to get their chores done? Do they think most of what you say is a joke? Does your teen completely ignore you at times? Does he or she ever say “talk to the hand” and put their palm to your face?

If so, you probably have fears that your teen will get in trouble with the law, and worry that he or she may be especially defiant with the officer involved, escalating the situation dangerously. You can confirm defiance in the letter “k” in handwriting. The further the buckle reaches out above the middle zone (MZ), the more disobedient the writer.

Here’s a sample of an 11 year-old whose parents say he has become more and more resistant to them lately (size reduced by 70% to fit). Once again take a look at the high-buckle k’s, indicated by the arrows. They suggest future unruliness.

It’s important for parents to recognize rebelliousness in the pre-teen years or sooner and to proactively discover and dig out the roots of the problem (traditional therapy, Graphotherapy, and/or Mental Image Makeover are effective options).

Recognizing unusual formations in this one letter - “k” - is an accurate way to instantly find out what you’re up against.
