Dr. Erika Margarete Karohs is Professor Emeritus at Monterey Peninsula College and Senator of the International Academy of Culture, Arts and Sciences. She is an industrial psychologist, graphologist, author, and lecturer. She works as a consultant to corporations in the U.S., in Canada, Mexico, and Europe.

Dr. Karohs has studied at the Pedagogical Institute in Quedlinburg, Germany, the Graphological/Psychological Institute in Zurich, Switzerland, the Institute of Management Science at Berne, Switzerland, at UC Davis and at the Monterey Institute of International Studies in Monterey, California. She holds a Master of Arts degree in languages, a Master of Arts degree in political science and doctoral degrees in psychology and education. She additionally holds lifetime teaching credentials issued by the State of California for secondary and college education.

Dr. Karohs has written 74 books on the subject of graphology, among them a 30-volume Encyclopedia of Handwriting analysis and five certification courses of Handwriting Analysis. Her courses are being taught in 22 countries around the world, including at the partner schools Authentic School of Graphology in Jakarta Selatan, Indonesia and Handwriting Analysts India HAI.

Articles about her work have appeared in many newspapers, journals and magazines, among them the San Francisco Chronicle, The Monterey Peninsula Herald, Women in Business, the Professional Agent, The Journal of the British Institute of Graphology, Maximum Golf magazine, etc.

Dr. Karohs has been listed in the 1977 Who’s Who of American Women, 1978 Personalities of America, 1978/1993, Who’s Who of International Intellectuals, 1979 Who’s Who of International Women, etc.

Dr. Karohs resides in Pebble Beach, California.
